Visited St Vaast la Hougue today where Joshie enjoyed seeing lots of boats and cranes ("Lift!") After watching the gates to the sea open up to let the boats go in and out we travelled a little further north to the beach at Jonville. We started at the point where the lighthouse is and then we came back along the beach towards St Vaast. Li made sandcastles for Joshua but every time he made a castle Joshua would push it over and say "Castle gone!" Luckily Lionel likes making sandcastles :) Back home we spent the afternoon visiting the local windmill (Fierville les Mines) and then we managed to find the entrance to the St Sauveur Forest where we had a little walk (and Joshua took a tumble into a ditch) before we headed home for the evening.
