His Purple Robes - Friday 15 May

Fi woke on a high this morning because during the night her milk "came in" and it meant she could feed Joshua without needing any "top ups" of formula. This plus yesterday's good news about the blood culture results meant it was time to go home!!!!!!!!!!!!
Joshua wore the purple baby gro which Nanna Netty bought and he was a big hit around the hospital. Everyone thought he was very cute and scrummy.
After a mountain of paper work was completed we left the hospital. Ahhhh the sweet smell of fresh air! At home we had lots of presents and cards waiting and then Grandma Liz came to visit. Doesn't she look pretty holding Joshua...
Lionel was determined to show off his little bundle of son so we took a turn about Woking. Li felt like he'd joined a new secret society. All the mums and dads gave him special winks and smiles when they saw him carrying Joshua around town. And Joshua (or was it Lionel???) got lots of admiring glances from everyone else. During our walk Joshua got to meet all our lovely neighbours - Louise, Eleanor and her family and Becky & Niraj. It was fun to meet everyone. We have a nice street.

  1. Yes, I will be the first! Its early Sunday morning and so good to see all the pics and comments. Just love the purple robes and the three pics - am I biased! Senior Newcombe is also very chuffed with his appearance on a blog = also a first. God Bless all Three and, as we are 18 at Bgate, I must make strong black coffee and croissant. Lol Granma Liz xx
